Carrara would be a great product with what I've shown you so far, but there's more. A lot more. Carrara also models plants, terrains, particles, fire, volumetric clouds, and more.

Carrara's trees are realistic renditions of their natural counterparts that looks great close up or far away.

Plants

Carrara's trees are realistic renditions of their natural counterparts that looks great close up or far away. The general plant modeling settings (figure 10) are pretty straightforward and will provide you with all you need for realistic output. However, if you're the tweaking kind and you want to get things just right, the advanced settings (figure 11) will let you do so to your heart's content.

Terrains

Carrara comes with plenty of preset terrains. If they don't suit you, you can create your own in the terrain modeler (figure 12) or you can import a terrain map. (Importing of DEM data isn't supported.) Carrara provides many filters and terrain generators for making all sorts of terrains, and once you get your terrain configured the way you like it, you can save it as a preset for future use.

Particles

Another great feature in Carrara is the particle emitter (shown in figure 13), making it easy to create any number of particle effects from fireworks to spraying water. The real time preview of your effect is a convenient method of getting just the right look.

The Advanced tab in figure 13 displays many more settings for your particle emitter including the ability for your particles to interact with forces and objects in your scene.
